Corruption: BJP leader hits out at Centre

KURNOOL: BJP State general secretary T. Achari flayed the Congress government at the centre for the multiple scandals that have taken place in recent times. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said the government had turned intolerant towards those who talked about corruption.
He said the government should realise that even spiritual leaders had detested the degeneration and came out against the corruption. But the government was trying to suppress any movement against corruption. Baba Ramdev was dubbed as the supporter of RSS in order to cover up its mistakes.
He said that the corruption would not end with the arrest of former Telecom Minister A. Raja or MP Kanimozhi but few more heads would have to roll down.
He said the public mood was building up against corruption and the government should realise the need for stamping out corruption through legislations and administrative actions as desired by the public.
Mr. Achari expressed his dismay over PR chief Chiranjeevi merging his party with the Congress asking what aspect of Congress appeared appealing to Mr. Chiranjeevi when the party was deep in corruption.
He owed an explanation to public over his action, he said.
