Slew of programmes await Kiran in Kurnool

KURNOOL: Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy will take part in a slew of programmes in Kurnool district on June 25, according to Minister for Minor Irrigation T.G. Venkatesh.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, he said the Chief Minister would attend programmes at Banaganapalli, Kodumur and Kurnool before leaving for the State headquarters in the evening.
Mr. Reddy will fly to Banaganapalli to inaugurate KGBV School building and an integrate hostel built at a cost of Rs 1.68 crore before addressing a public meeting.
Later, the Cief Minister will fly to Kodumur to lay the foundation stone for Pulakurthi lift irrigation scheme planned at a cost of Rs. 120 crore, Rs 5.5-crore drinking water scheme and another comprehensive scheme for flood affected areas.
He will address a public meeting at Kodumur before leaving for Kurnool and inaugurating the improved drinking water supply scheme.
He will inaugurate Nursing College building and Maternity Ward on the hospital campus.
He will review with officials before leaving for Hyderabad.
