HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party has taken strong exception to it repeatedly being linked to the Congress by the YSR Congress and suggested the “infant” party to shed its tendency of shooting at the government from the shoulders of the Opposition party.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, senior TDP leader K. Kala Venkata Rao said it was strange that the TDP was being linked with Congress without any rhyme and reason.
He reminded YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy that it was his party that was a branch of the corrupt Congress while TDP was born to fight the Congress.
